Juanita Berry McGuire Rasche

Juanita Jolene Berry McGuire Rasche, 86, passed away quietly to be with her Lord on March 27, 2024.

Juanita was the daughter of Arthur & Doris Tidball Berry, born March 22, 1938. Growing up she lived in the Hunter, KS, area where she attended Hunter schools and graduated from Hunter High School in 1956.

Juanita married Richard Lee McGuire on December 23, 1956, at the United Methodist Church in Hunter, KS. To this union 3 children were born: Cynithia Marie, Shelly Lynn & Tommy Lee.

Juanita and Richard divorced in 1969. She later married Ron Rasche on November 24, 1972, and added two stepchildren to her family, Randall Lee & Ronda Lyn.

Juanita was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Berry, her mother, Doris Tidball Diers, her stepfather Eldon Diers, her sisters Janet Watson & Elaine Heinze.

She leaves behind to carry on in her absence, her children, Cynithia (Alan) Poore, Alton, KS; Shelly (Bill) Herbert, Belton, MO; Tommy (Ronda) McGuire, Independence, MO; Randy Rasche, Chillicothe, MO & Ronda Bohl (Dave), Lenexa, KS.

Her grandchildren, Craig (Heather) Poore, Lacey (Tracy) Holloway, Victoria McGuire, Riley Jane Rasche (Hayden), Isaak Rasche, Hanna (Dave) Nelson & Cameron Bohl. Great-grandchildren Addison & Zane Poore, Donovan & Dixon Holloway & Peyton Glaubius. Plus, many nieces, nephews & friends.

A private ceremony will be held with her immediate family at a later date. The family requests no flowers. Memorials will be donated to the Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter, Kansas City, MO, in memory of her love for our 4-legged friends.
