He graduated from minneapolis High School and attended Cloud County Community College. He then chose to come home to farm with his dad and brothers. He was a farmer and rancher including his custom hay business for many years. His personality was a natural to move him into sales of farm equipment and to be the “van man” delivering school supplies to schools in north central Kansas. He started migrating to the north. First stop was Delphos, followed by Glasco and final stop in Beloit. He has left many friends in these areas with memories of his quick wit, generous heart and more than a few escapades and adventures to remember (but maybe not talk about).
