Joiner to entertain at chamber banquet
BELOIT - Comedian Michael Joiner will entertain at the 117th Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce banquet at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Down Under, 121 W. Court, Beloit.
The themed 'Chips for Charity' program will showcase a 6 p.m. Social hour, 7 p.m. Dinner, 8 p.m. Chamber Program and entertainment at 8:15 p.m.
Joiner will present his award winning stand-up comedy show he packs full of laughs and insightful interviews as well as his unscripted moments.
He is known for dancing his way around various subjects with his wit and style, from the fast-food clerk to his wife's untouchable towels and even the hokey pokey.
Joiner is a national touring comedian and contributing writer to Jay Leno. He has performed in comedy clubs, cruise ships, colleges, schools and coporate functions across the country. He has also been in over 50 Hollywood films, and appeared on TNN, FamilyNet and Odyssey.
Tickets for the banquet are $30 a person if purchased before Jan. 28. They are $40 there after.
