Milo harvest winding down

This years milo harvest is winding down just in time for possible snow to arrive late Sunday night into Monday (Veterans Day) at 30 percent. This will follow a sunny 72 degree Saturday. Next week Tuesday through Thursday is forecast for 33-45 degrees and sunny skies. Most of the milo harvest is 95-100 percent complete as Beloit has taken in 690,000 bushels; Asherville 400,000 bushels; Concordia 2 million bushels; Jamestown 277,000 bushels; Glen Elder 2 millions bushels; Mankato 140,000 bushels; Osborne 500,000 bushels; Randall 424,000 bushels; Jewell 552,000 bushels and Tipton 495,000 bushels.
