Wallace contest for Veterans Day
BELOIT – Brooke Wallace, Miss Rodeo Kansas 2019, will be making one last stop before heading to Las Vegas to compete for the coveted Miss Rodeo America title as she is being brought to Beloit for the Veterans Day Parade by Lazy P Creations, owned by Sara "Wallace" Prochaska. While in Beloit, a contest will be held with a random drawing being held from correct papers entered. The winner will get to sit with Brooke at lunch and some special photos will also be taken. Miss Brooke will also be signing autographs while in Beloit and her truck will be parked outside the VFW to receive donations of food and coats. * The food will be presented to the local food Pantry in preparation for the holidays and half of the coats will be kept locally and the other half will be given to Beloit VFW for
Veterans in need. Everyone wearing patriotic colors will be allowed to be in a huge group photo surrounding Brooke. This picture will be in her scrapbook and will go with her to Vegas. Brooke is having a Send Off Party at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16th at the Trinity Methodist Church in Salina, Kansas. Soups and desserts will be provided with a $5 ticket price to attend and her wardrobe she will be taking to Vegas the first week of Dec. will be on display. For those of you that won't be able to attend the send off in Salina, they can send her off Beloit style at the Veterans Day Parade. Brooke is granddaughter ofJane Wallace and the late Don Wallace, Beloit. She is the daughter of Mark Wallace, Solomon, formerly from Beloit.
