HAYS – Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) congratulate Jackie Dunne, HIM Director, for being appointed as the 2024 Education Officer for the Hays Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). AAPC is the world’s largest training and credentialing organization for medical coders, billers, auditors, practice managers, documentation specialists, compliance officers, and revenue cycle managers. In Kansas, the organization consists of four chapters, three of which are located in the Kansas City area. Hays is the only chapter serving the western/central part of the state.

BELOIT — Based on the desire to recognize efforts of the individuals in the communities we serve, the Board of Directors of Leadership Mitchell County (LMC) has established the Leadership Mitchell County Community Service Award. Each calendar year, the award recognizes the significant leadership efforts of an individual or entity that have impacted their community. A committee composed of Leadership Mitchell County Board members, community civic leaders, and community volunteer leaders select the recipient to be recognized from the nominations received.
