People have been stopping by checking out this antique convertible fire truck that is now a part of Cattopia at The Pet Connection. The truck traveled all the way from Beloit, Wisconsin, and is dedicated to Jason Huff for all his years of service to animal rescue shelter and for being an amazing philanthropist.
HAYS – Scott Waters, former District Fisheries Biologist of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, has been named as the new Region 1 (Western Region) Fisheries Management Supervisor to replace the big shoes of Lynn Davignon who is retiring at the end of the year.

Monday is forecast for a high near 47 degrees, calm with sunny skies and 45 degrees on Tuesday. It is forecast to warm up again to 47 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.
KANSAS – The Kansas Division of Emergency Management has mission assigned the Kansas Army National Guard and Kansas Forest Service to deploy aerial assets to western and central Kansas to assist with fire suppression efforts in multiple counties with active wildland fires. Gov. Laura Kelly issued a declaration of a State of Disaster Emergency on Thursday, Dec. 9 due to elevated dangers of wildland fires.
