Keegan Bailey from the North Central Kansas Regional Planning Commission was present during Monday's Mitchell County Commissioners meeting to, as she said, “ Keep Mitchell County in compliance with the America Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program." Bailey said that when she read in the Beloit Call that the commissioners had approved the purchase of a new ambulance for slightly over a quarter of a million dollars using ARPA grant money, she became concerned.

BELOIT – With a small unsponsored group of individuals that couldn’t let such a fine tradition fade into history it has been announced that the Beloit Area Veteran’s Day Parade group will be holding the Veteran’s Day parade starting at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
