Jewell will be celebrating the 7th Annual Jewell Corn Show this week with the parade being held at 10:15 on Saturday.

BELOIT – After an expected decrease in enrollment in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, North Central Kansas Technical College (NCK Tech) showed an overall headcount increase not only from 2020, but is facing the highest fall headcount in the last five years. Kansas Board of Regents reported 20 day numbers showing state universities down 1.7 percent, community colleges up 4.5 percent and technical colleges showing the larges headcount increase at 7.6 percent.
