Tietjens retires 12 years from MCHHS
BELOIT – Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) have announced the retirement of Brenda Tietjens, Controller, and congratulate her for 12 years of service to their organization.
BELOIT – Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) have announced the retirement of Brenda Tietjens, Controller, and congratulate her for 12 years of service to their organization.
At 8:30 a.m. a 30 minute open hearing was called to order during Monday’s Mitchell County Commissioners meeting, to discuss the budgets of Lulu, Logan, Center, Hayes and Eureka Townships. Nobody appeared during that time and the budgets were accepted as printed.
The Rainbow Parade book has raised some concern in the library children’s section. The parade depicted in the book includes some individuals fully or partially nude. Supporters of library’s call the objections an attempt at censorship and urge lawmakers to allow all books and topics, both for the sake of social inclusion and also to protect the right to freedom of speech. Banned books has become a controversy throughout all library’s existence. See the Letters to the Editor on page 3.
