STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO – Aubrey Gengler of Beliot and Thad Donley of Kanopalis, along with Jake Sasse, Ambassador of Smith Center, attended the 46th annual Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp (CYLC) from July 14-20, 2023. The leadership camp was held near Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and hosted 43 student leaders from Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming, sponsored by 25 participating cooperatives.
BELOIT – Doug Jackson, respected and devoted general manager of Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative, Inc. retired officially June 30, 2023, after 36 years of dedicated service to Rolling Hills Electric (RHE).
BELOIT – The Aspen Award was created to recognize the outstanding individuals working behind the scenes in the Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) support service departments who go above and beyond in their roles.
Mitchell County EMS had a defensive driving class, presented by Lauren Lewis with KCAMP. Following the classroom time they were allowed to do a driving course at the Beloit Junior Senior High parking lot, with the assistance of Jason Minor from the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.
