As extreme red flag warnings have been issued in Kansas, the worry of wildfires have become a reality as extreme high wind conditions of 40 mph plus gusts, are causing some bad situations in the area.
BELLEVILLE March 25, DAR several counties in Kansas welcomed On Saturday, Members from North Central State Regent Rcbecca Kline to Belleville, Kansas. The historic home on M Street, owned by Jacob Wilber, was the perfect setting for the nearly 30 Daughters of the American Revolution to greet State Regent Kline, The local DAR Chapters appreciated the fact that Mr, Wilber was gracious enough to allow us to host State Regent Kline and her guests. Also attending were State Corresponding Secretary, Laura Renfro; State Parliamentarian, Mary Frisch; Honorary State Regent Brenda Dooley; and NW District Director Nancy Williams, Several local members of Santa Fc Trail Society C. A. R, were also able to attend.
BELOIT - The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook, and a Red Flag Warning for Phillips, Smith, Jewell, Rooks, Osborne, Mitchell counties and portions of south ccntral Nebraska as weather conditions arc favorable for critical fire situations.
