DOWNS - Production of Sod and Stubble, LLC, is expected to begin in June with filming on the Miller Farm at Downs where sets are being constructed, including a replica of the Ise homestead.

Becky Snook, Director of Communications, requested a tenminute executive session during Monday’s Mitchell County Commissioners meeting, to discuss non-electcd personnel. At the end of the closed session, it was announced that no decisions had been made, - Jason Vetter was present to give his 2023 yearly report for mitigation of noxious weeds in Mitchell County. This is an annual event to plan for treating unwanted weeds, Vetter submitted bids for a spray boom to mount on his pickup to the commissioners. It will also make spraying of vegetation along guard rails more effective. The commissioners approve an expenditure of $12,587.77 for a spray boom.
