Sharon Rose Stevenson, 75, Salina

SALINA – Sharon Rose Stevenson, 75, of Salina, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. She was born on Feb. 24, 1944 in Hunter, Kan. to Cecil and Arlene (Baird) Williams. Sharon worked for many years at Payless Cashways and the Russell Stover Store in Abilene. Outside of work she enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino. She loved her family, especially time spent with her grandchildren and dog Elvis. She was an amazing mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, but it didn’t stop there. Many called her Mom or Grams. Friends were family and family were friends.

Sharon is survived by her children, Douglas Stevenson (Nicke) of Falun, Sharolyn Hoffman (John) of Salina, Shelli Redden (Ron) of Salina; grandchildren, Dalton Hoffman (Summer), Tyler Stevenson, Casey Turner (Trevor), Garrett Redden, Dane Hoffman, Whittney Hoffman, Payton Stevenson, Dylan Hoffman; brother, Don Williams (Judy) of Aurora, Colo.; sister, Bev Jones (Bill) of Salina.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Williams Sr. and sister-in-law, Darlene Williams.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 with family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at Heartland Worship Center, Salina. Inurnment will be in Spillman Cemetery at a later date.
