William “Bill” Fueser, 85, Abilene

ABILENE – William Matthew was born to Henry and Elizabeth (Hake) Fueser on March 19, 1934 on a farm south of Tipton. Bill was a graduate of St. John’s Catholic School. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He passed away on October 2, 2019.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Francis Fueser, his sisters, Mary Crannell, Luella Weber and infant sister, Elizabeth Marie Fueser.

He is survived by his sisters, Coralee Budke of Beloit and Amelia Scraper of Topeka, many nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Marie (Richard) Senters of Beloit.

Danner Funeral Home of Abilene is in charge of the arrangements. There will be a vigil followed by visitation on Monday, October 7, at 5 p.m. at Danner Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, October 8, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Abilene at 10:30 a.m. The burial with military honors will be the same day at 3 p.m. in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Beloit. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Catholic Schools.
