BELOIT – Carol Jean Wessling, 89, (July 15, 1932 – April 14, 2022) of Hillsboro Oregon was called to her eternal rest at the age of 89 when passing suddenly on April 14, 2022.
BELOIT – Steve and Stan Belden sadly announce the passing of their mother, Dorothy May Belden. Dorothy went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was 97 years, 6 months and 28 days young. By her side at the time of her death was Stan, his wife Connie; and Steve.
BELOIT– Danny Burkhart of Beloit, Kansas passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit. Danny was born July 4, 1947 to Don and Vera Burkhart in Arkansas City. He graduated from Dexter High School. He married Juanita Tinch and to this union a son, Mark Burkhart, was born. The couple later divorced.
CONCORDIA – Katherine P. Doyen gained her angel wings on May 7, 2022. She passed away at the age of 87 at Hilltop Lodge, Beloit, Kansas and was formerly of Concordia, KS. She was the only child of Almon and Hazel Brown, born May 18, 1934, in rural Concordia.
SALINA – Bryan Sahlfeld 63, of Salina, passed away May 10, 2022, at Comfort Care in Newton, KS, after suffering from FTD (frontotemporal dementia). He was born in Beloit, KS, to Paul and Thelma (Peterson) Sahlfeld on July 11, 1958. Bryan went to St. John’s Catholic school in Beloit and graduated from Ft. Hays State University in 1992 with a degree in Radiology. He was united in marriage to Melissa (Duensing) on August 22, 1992, and to this union their son, Baxter, was born.
