Meanwhile, the Lady Ringnecks had three ladies score in double figures and were able to hit the outside shot. "Hill City played a very physical and fast-paced game," said Lady Jay Coach Leah Bergmann. "Our girls came out a little sluggish and it seemed like we had a hard time adjusting to the way Hill City and the way the officials were calling the game. I thought we played good defense and got good shots, the ball just wouldn't go when for us. I was pleased how we battled all four quarters."
Lauryn Dubbert led the Jays with 8 points, she had 7 rebounds,1 assist, and 5 steals, Caitlin Strong had 6 points and 3 rebounds, Tara Ellenz had 5 points, led the team with 11 rebounds, had 1 assist and 1 steal Lauren Schmitt had 3 points and 1 rebound, Paige Hollerich had 3 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and Erica Brummer had 2 points and 1 assist.
