Beloit CC runners place in host invitational
BELOIT – The Trojan Cross-Country Invitational was held Thursday at the Beloit Country Club. Over 23 schools and 317 runners took advantage of the two mile and 5k course. The first races of the day included Junior High boys and girls competitors running for top ten medal honors. In the 7th/8th boys middle school combined race, Rilee Lundine finished in 5th place with a time of 12:31. Winning the race was Bachman from Smokey Valley Home Educators with time of 11:17. Other Beloit Trojan runners in the race included Cole Sedlacek in 15th, Gavin Wright 17th, Kisaac Hubert in 27th and Tyson Sevilla 46th. Sixty-one runners competed in the ladies high school race. Jenna Balluch was the top Trojan girl across the finish line coming in 19th with a time of 23:17. Ariana Armstrong and Abby Porter finished 25th and 33rd respectively.
