BELOIT – The Beloit Blue K-18 baseball team was host to Smith Center on June 19, 2025 and fell short with their first game loss of the season, 7-5. They are now 4-1, and will travel to play Osborne on June 23, and will have a Bye on June 26.
Beloit led 1-0 after the bottom of the first inning. Smith Center took over the lead, scoring in three runs in the top of the second inning. They added two runs in the third and two in the fourth inning. Beloit scored in two runs in the fourth inning and trailed 7-1. Beloit scored in two runs in the sixth inning. Both teams were scoreless in the final seventh inning and Smith Center won the game 7-5.
