On the boys side, Beloit won seventh place as a team with just four qualifiers.
Senior, Eli Johnson placed third in the Discus with a throw of 171’ 7”. Colter Oldham of Lakin won the event at 180’ 9”. Freshman, Griffin Johnson of Beloit, placed seventh to earn a place on the podium with a throw of 151’ 4”.
Eli Johnson placed second in the shot put for a State Silver medal with a throw of 60’ 8.50”. Senior Brodie Boudreaux followed in third place at 57’ .25” and Griffin Johnson placed fourth at 56’ 9”. Senior Colter Oldham of Lakin won the championship at 60’ 9.50”.
Beloit senior, Brooks Jones, placed second for a State Silver medal in the javelin, with a throw of 196’ 7”, which ties the school record with Brennan Walker. Kasen Parsons of Osage City won the championship with at throw of 197’ 9”.
