BELOIT – The Beloit Educational Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Trojan Stadium Improvement Campaign, an initiative aimed at providing students, athletes, fans, and the entire Beloit community with a safe, accessible, and updated facility for sports, community gatherings, and regional events.
Preserving Tradition, Building the Future
For generations, Trojan Stadium has been more than just a venue for games—it’s been a pillar of a community, a gathering place for families, and a symbol of Trojan pride. Now, as they look ahead, it’s time to carry that legacy forward and ensure that future generations continue to experience the traditions that define Beloit.
The campaign seeks to raise $1.5 million through a combination of public contributions, grants, community fundraising, naming rights, and in-kind donations.
Phase One: Track Repairs
The Trojan Stadium track is a cornerstone of Beloit athletics and hosts prestigious events like the Beloit Relays, bringing together athletes from across Kansas. However, due to significant cracking and subsurface issues, the track now requires comprehensive repairs.
USD 273 has recognized the urgency of this issue and has committed $300,000 toward the estimated $800,000 project cost. The campaign aims to bridge the remaining funding gap so that these critical repairs can be completed by spring 2026.
Enhancing the Trojan Stadium Experience
Beyond track improvements, the campaign will fund several key upgrades designed to enhance the functionality, comfort, and overall experience at Trojan Stadium:
• New 30x60 Metal Building: A modernized concession stand and upgraded public restrooms will provide a better experience for fans, while a covered 10-foot patio will offer a gathering space for Trojan supporters.
• Locker Room Expansion: Moving the concessions and restrooms out from under the stadium will allow for the creation of two dedicated locker rooms—one for the home team and one for visitors.
• New Press Box: A stadium-wide press box will provide a safer, more functional space for announcers, media personnel, and coaches, ensuring seamless event coverage.
• Stadium Entrance & Legacy Enhancements: Updates to the stadium entrance, gardens, and a new donor legacy wall will elevate the overall look of Trojan Stadium while honoring the generosity of those who contribute to the campaign.
How You Can Help
The success of the Trojan Stadium Improvement Campaign depends on the support of the Beloit community and Trojan alumni.
One exciting way to get involved is by joining the Trojan Legacy Club. The first 273 donors to contribute $1,000 will have their family or organization’s name enshrined on a distinctive Trojan Legacy Club Wall at the stadium. Once 273 contributions have been received, the Legacy Club will be closed, so early donations are encouraged.
Donations can be made online or by mailing a check with a completed donation form to:
