SALINA – Beloit K-18 opened the season with their first loss to the Salina Warriors 14U, 9-6 game win.
Salina held a 3-0 lead after the bottom of the first inning. Beloit scored in one run in the fourth inning for the 3-1 score. They added three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take the 4-3 lead, but it was short lived when Salina collected six runs in the fifth inning for the 9-4 lead. Beloit scored in two runs in the final sixth inning and it wasn’t enough as the Salina Warriors won the game 9-6.

SMITH CENTER – Beloit K-18 traveled to play Smith Center on June 2, and came back to win 12-10. Beloit are now 1-1 on the season and scheduled to host Osborne on Thursday, June 5, in Beloit.
Beloit led 1-0 after the top of the first inning, before Smith Center collected 4 runs in the bottom of the second inning for the 4-1 lead. Beloit tied up the game with three runs in the third inning. They then added one run in the fourth and one in the fifth innings for the 6-4 lead. Both teams scored three runs in the sixth inning and three runs in the seventh inning, as Beloit held for the 12-10 win over Smith Center.
