Beloit ladies add on doubleheader Plainville win

PLAINVILLE – The Beloit softball girls traveled to play a makeup games in Plainville, on Friday, May 2. They were scheduled to host Lyons, but due to lack of players, the game was cancelled. Beloit won a shut out game one of 16-0  and a game two win of 18-1 over Plainville. Beloit, 7-6, will now travel to Belleville to play Republic County on May 9 and play a makeup game against Southeast of Saline on May 12, followed by Sacred Heart on the road, May 13. Regionals starts May 19-22.

In game one against Plainville, Beloit collected 12 huge runs in the top of the third inning. They added four runs in the fourth and final inning for the 16-0 win.
