CONCORDIA – The Beloit ladies softball team opened their season in Concordia on April 1, 2025, and won the double header with a first game 6-4 win and a second game 12-6 win over the lady Panthers. Beloit will now open their first home game on Friday, April 8, at 2-0, and travel to Lucas on Thursday. Beloit will travel to Ellsworth on Friday, April 11, to play a make-up game with the Bearcats. They will host Clay Center on April 15, with a 4 p.m. pitch in Beloit.
Against Concordia, the lady Panthers took an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. They held Beloit off the board as they added one run in the bottom of the second inning for the 3-0 lead.
Beloit got on the board in the top of the third inning with one run scored, and trailed 3-1. Beloit added two runs in the fifth finning to tie up the game, 3-3.
Concordia took back the lead with one run scored in the sixth inning for the 4-3 score.
Beloit held Concordia scoreless in the seventh inning and added three runs for the 6-4 win.

Game 2:
Beloit won over Concordia after taking the early 6-0 lead with three runs in the first inning and three runs in the second. Concordia scored in two runs in the third quarter and Beloit held the 6-2 lead.
Beloit scored in six big runs in the top of the fourth inning and held Concordia to four runs in the fifth inning, winning over the Panthers, 12-6.
