MINNEAPOLIS – The Beloit Trojan High School Girls Wrestling Team are league champions, for the first time in history for Beloit.
Beloit ladies placed two championships with Jayda Purvis in the 120 weight division and Bently Pruitt in the 155 division. Five Runners-Up included Estefani Contreras-Munoz in the 100 division; Daytona McMillan in the 105 division; Jerusalem Forrest-Ortiz in the 110 division; Nahomi Contreras-Munoz in the 125 division and Lyli Noah in the 135 division. Brecken Boudreaux placed third in the 145 division. Hannah Koenig placed fourth in the 115 division and Amelia Hager in the 130 division.
Beloit ladies will not prepare for Regionals that will take place on Feb. 15.
