NORTON – Beloit Musteez baseball team competed on June 8, at Norton for a double header and just fell short in game one with a 10-9 loss. They lost game two, 8-6.
In game one, Beloit scored one run in the top of the first inning and collected five in the second inning. Norton scored two in the second and Beloit led 6-2. Beloit added one run in the third and fourth innings and Norton added two in the third inning for the Beloit 8-4 lead. Beloit added one in the sixth inning and Norton collected five to tie it up at 9 each. Norton scored in one run in the bottom of the final seventh inning for the one point, 10-9 win.

Game 2:
In game two, Norton led 4-2 after the first inning. Beloit added a run in the top of the second inning to come back trailing 4-3. Norton added two runs in the third inning to extend their lead 6-3. Beloit added three runs in the top of the fourth to tie it up at 6-6. Norton then added two runs in the bottom of the fourth to up their lead 8-6. Both teams were scoreless in the final fifth inning and Norton held for the two point win.
