Beloit Trojans baseball split the wins with Lyons

BELOIT – The Beloit Trojans baseball team was host to Lyons on Friday, May 2, and split the wins with a game one win of 3-2 and a game two loss of 9-0. Beloit are now 10-5 on the season and will host Clay Center on May 9, in Beloit, before the start of Regional Quarter Finals May 14-16.

In game one against Lyons, Beloit took the early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, for their first and only score. Lyons scored two runs in the top of the third and the game ended in the seventh inning with the 3-2 Beloit win.
