BELOIT – The Beloit Trojans were hosts to the 85th Track and Field Beloit Relays on Friday, May 2, in Beloit. The weather was perfect with an off and on cloudy day, and low winds, and the Beloit Trojans teams represented well.
Beloit ladies earned the Beloit Relay Championship title with 6 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze medals, 4 fourth, 2 fifth and 7 sixth place.
This is the sixth team meet championship for the ladies this season.
Gold medalists were Tatum Seyfert in the shot put breaking her own meet record with a throw of 45’ 8.50” and in the discus with a throw of 147’ 2”; Dakota Gray in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.98; the 4x100m relay team of Bently Pruitt, Dakota Gray, Autumn Lorenz, and Brecken Boudreaux with a time of 50.51; Ashlyn Loomis in the pole vault with a clearing of 10’ 6”; Brecken Boudreaux in the long jump with a distance of 17’ 11”.
Silver medals went to Bently Pruitt in the pole vault with a clearing of 10’6”; Autumn Lorenz in the long jump at 16’ 8.75”, and in the javelin at 125’ 7”; Addison Budke in the shot put at 41’ 10”; Samantha Thompson in the discus with a throw of 128’ 4”.
Bronze medalists were: Scarlett Ludwig in the 300m hurdles in 50.16; Samantha Thompson in the shot put at 35’ 9”, and in the javelin at 124’ 6”; Cassandra Thompson in the discus at 123’ 1”.
Placing fourth were Bently Pruitt in the 100m dash with a time of 13.18; Addison Budke in the javelin at 122’ 5”; Brecken Boudreaux in the triple jump at 33’ 4.50” and in the discus at 145’.
Fifth place went to Brecken Boudreaux in the 100m dash in 13.29; Brittyn Hilt in the high jump with a clearing of 4’ 8”.
Placing sixth were Scarlett Ludwig in the 100m dash in 13.53 and in the 100m hurdles in 17.83; Dakota Gray in the 200m dash in 27.81; Reese Richards in the 1600m run in 5:55.44; the 4x400m relay team of Autumn Lorenz, Ashlyn Loomis, Ellie Olson, and Scarlett Ludwig with a time of 4:22.52; Zayda Purvis in the pole vault with a clearing of 8’ 6”; Dakota Gray in the long jump at 16’ 1.50”.

Beloit boys earned a third place overall as a team, with 3 gold, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals, 1 fifth, and 5 sixth place.
Gold medalists Brooks Jones who broke the meet record in the javelin with a throw of 186’ 11”. The old meet record was set by Lance Eck in 2003, with a throw of 185’ 11”; and Eli Johnson in the shot put at 60’ 9” and in the discus with a throw of 168’ 2”.
Silver medals went to Griffin Johnson in the shot put at 54’ 10.50”; John Lomax in the javelin with a throw of 168’ 6”.
Bronze medalists were Gunner Gray in the triple jump at 40’ 5”; Brodie Boudreaux in the shot put at 53’ 7”.

Sixth place went to Kale Leners in the 400m dash in 55.86; Parker Lund in the 300m hurdles in 44.59; the 4x100m relay team of Parker Lund, Kale Leners, Gavin Wright, and Jacob Hand with a time of 3:47.74; the 4x800m relay team of Brogan Monty, Charlie Burke, Gavin Wright, and Hendryx Mast with a time of 9:58.91; Jacob Hand in the long jump at 19’ 5”.
