CONCORDIA – The Beloit Trojans competed against Concordia on March 31, with the Panthers winning game one 8-1 and game two, 5-2. Beloit are now 0-3 on the season and will face Ellsworth on Friday, April 4 with a 4 p.m. starting pitch in Bearcat territory. The Trojans will host Minneapolis on April 8, for their first home game in Beloit.
In game one, Beloit scored in their one solo run with Ashton Bletscher for the 1-0 lead, before Concordia took over 2-1 in the bottom of the first inning. Both teams were scoreless in the second and third innings before the Panthers scored in two runs in the fourth and four in the fifth inning for the 8-1 win.
