KANSAS CITY – Lauryn Dubbert, former St. John’s Catholic High School 2021 graduate, and player for the Benedictine Ravens Women’s BB Team, won the Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament last Monday in Kansas City as the number three seed.
Dubbert averaged 22 points for those three tournament games. By winning the tournament, the team qualifies for nationals. The first two rounds of the tournament are in McKenzie, Tennessee. After that, the Final 16 is in Sioux City, Iowa.
Lauryn recently scored over 1,000 points for her college career and was also named to the first team all-conference team and the all-conference defensive team.
