Eilert named UCM Assistant Head Softball Coach

MISSOURI – Jeremy Eilert begins his third season as the University of Central Missouri (UCM) Assistant Softball Coach after spending a year as a graduate assistant. 

Eilert was a 2015 Beloit High School graduate and baseball athlete.

As a graduate assistant for the Jennies, Eilert trained the team’s catchers, assisted with hitting, outfield and pitching instruction, scouted opponents using film and statistics and helped with numerous other tasks within the program.

Prior to becoming a graduate assistant at UCM, Eilert was a student manager for the softball team at the University of Kansas from 2017-2021. During the 2016-17 season, Eilert was a pitcher for the Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan University.

Eilert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in general studies, liberal arts from Kansas in 2020 and graduated with a master’s degree in sport management from UCM in 2022.

Eilert says, “I can’t begin to express how much I love what I do. Surrounded by some amazing people and athletes.”
