Griffin Johnson receives Honorable Mention All-State

# 1 SPORTS IN KANSAS – Bright Future: 2028 OL Griffin Johnson of Beloit recently competed with a big time 500 lb squat to receive Honorable mention All State as a freshman this fall and 1st Team All State underclassmen in football, at 6’2 280 lbs. He had the #1 shot put throw in the country as an 8th grader last year at over 58’ feet. Should immediately expect he will be in the 50’+ range as a freshman this spring with the 12 lb shot. Beloit may have 4-5 throwers in the 50+ range this spring for Kansas throwing with Coach Casey Seyfert.

Johnson was benching 305 last year as an 8th grader and dominated this year as a freshman starter on a 2A semifinal team. His cousin Eli was the SIK 2A DPOY this year for Beloit and should be in the 60’+ range this year in the shot as he ranked second in all classes of Kansas.
