BELOIT – Beloit High School senior, Jaidyn Follis, signed with Allen Community College, to continue her volleyball career as a Lady Red Devil.
Follis says she likes the college because it is the right fit for her.
“I absolutely loved it, so I went for it,” said Jaidyn.
Follis will be majoring in Elementary Education.
“I am looking forward to playing volleyball at the college level,” Jaidyn said. “I am happy I can keep competing and pushing myself in the next level.”
When asked how Jaidyn felt about if she was prepared for the college level, she said, “We have the most amazing coaches, teammates and Beloit community. They have all been very supportive. The on and off seasons have also prepared me in sports.”
Jaidyn’s 2024 volleyball totals included: 1005 assists (3051 career assist); 13 kills; 8 Blocks; and 159 digs.
Jaidyn is a 4-year later winner for BJSHS. She is a NCAA League Champ for 4 years, Sub-State Champ for 4 years, State qualifier- All 4 Years, and a NCAA 1st Team All-League 3 years.
When asked about what she will miss the most about high school, she said, “I will miss playing sports with my friends, and especially with my twin sister, Kaitlyn. I will miss our awesome coaches as well.”
Jaidyn will now be preparing for the upcoming Beloit High School softball season. Their first game will be held on April 1, in Concordia.
