Lawrence “Trippy” Tripp

NEWTON – Memorial services for Lawrence “Trippy” Tripp, age 99, of Newton & formerly of Beloit, will be at 2 PM Thursday, December 5 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Tripp died Sunday, December 1 at the Kidron Bethel Village in Newton.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen of Newton; children, Kerry Ackerman of Spearville, Gary Tripp of Clearwater, & Kristin Mendenhall of Wichita; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; & 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Cremation has taken place & there is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Community Care Hospice of McPherson or Beloit Methodist Church in care of the funeral home. Roberts Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
