BELOIT – Annalee Miller was selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic school year from Beloit's local P.E.O. Chapter K. Miller is a 2026 graduate of Beloit Junior-Senior High School and is continuing her education at Barton County Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Her long-term goal is to become a Kindergarten teacher.
P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) is an international organization whose sole purpose is to provide assistance to women pursuing education to achieve their highest aspirations. There are scholarships, grants, awards, loans and an opportunity to attend a college owned and maintained by P.E.O. available to those wishing to apply. Beloit's local P.E.O. Chapter K has awarded a $1,000 scholarship for many years to a worthy Mitchell County young woman, and this year it is an honor to award that scholarship to Annalee Miller.
