Sahlfeld earns seven KPA awards, four first place

Sharon (Hesket) Sahlfeld (Beloit Call Managing Editor) attended the KPA AOE celebrations and received seven awards, including four first place honors in the all Non-Daily Division III entries. Sahlfeld has worked in the newspaper industry since 1985 and began her career at the Beloit Call as the Beloit Call Sports Editor in 2006. She has been the Managing/Editor since 2015. She is shown with Sweet Tea Media, LLC Publisher, Kevin Zadina, of Seward, Neb., who now owns the Concordia/Blade Empire, Republic County, Glasco and the Beloit Call newspapers, as well as five in Seward, and Saline counties in Nebraska.
