BELOIT – St. John’s Catholic High School athletes competed in the 85th Beloit Relays Track and Field event on Friday, May 2, 2025, with the boys placing sixth place as a team.
St. John’s Blujay boys earned 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal, 2 fifth place, 1 sixth place.
Gold medalists was Edward Horinek in the triple jump with a distance of 43’ 6”.
Silver medalists was Tyson Gates in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.92 and in the 300m hurdles with a time of 42.96.
A bronze medal went to the 4x400m relay team of Cadyn Brummer, Henry Holdren, Edward Horinek, and Nicholas Niewald with a time of 3:40.20.
Fifth place went to the 4x100m relay team of Cadyn Brummer, Tyson Gates, Henry Holdren, and Edward Horinek with a time of 45.88; the 4x800m relay team of Henry Holdren, Jonas Letourneau, Nicholas Niewald, and Gabriel Roderick with a time of 8:59.14.
A sixth place went to Edward Horinek in the 200m dash in 24.17.
