KANSAS – The Solomon Valley Transportation (SVT) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Urbaniak as the new Executive Director. Urbaniak has been in her role since the beginning of February, she leads the organization in its mission to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services to residents of Mitchell, Jewell, and Osborne counties.
Urbaniak brings a diverse background to the role, with experience in banking, lending, human resources, and community development. She also currently serves as the Director of Jewell County Community Development. Her experience in these areas has provided her with a strong foundation for community engagement.
A lifelong resident of Mankato, Urbaniak is a graduate of Mankato Jr/Sr. High School and Fort Hays State University. She is deeply committed to the region and understands the transportation challenges and opportunities facing its residents.

Urbaniak expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, saying, "I am honored to join the Solomon Valley Transportation team and am excited to work collaboratively with the board, staff, and community partners to enhance transportation options for our region."
Jennifer and her husband, Vincent Urbaniak, reside in Mankato. Vincent is a Paramedic and the Director of Jewell County EMS.
Solomon Valley Transportation is a general public transportation system dedicated to providing affordable and accessible transportation to residents in Jewell, Mitchell, and Osborne Counties.
