BELOIT – The Resident Care Center (RCC) of Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems has been recognized as a Best Nursing Home for 2025 by U.S. News & World Report.
The RCC earned its U.S. News’ Best Nursing Home status by achieving a rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, for Long-Term Care. U.S. News gives the designation of Best Nursing Home only to those organizations that achieve U.S. News’ proprietary assessment of consistent performance in quality measures.
“Our residents are like family to us, so we give our best effort to ensure their quality of life is extraordinary,” said Pamela Hollerich, RCC Director of Nursing.

Since 2009, the U.S. News’ annual Best Nursing Homes ratings have assisted individuals and families in their selection of short-term rehabilitation or long-term care by identifying the best organizations in this specialty.
For the 2025 edition, U.S. News evaluated nearly 15,000 nursing homes. They analyzed performance by calculating multiple high-quality factors, such as low infection rates; good staffing levels; avoidance of potentially inappropriate reliance on antipsychotic drugs; success in preventing ER and hospital visits; positive health inspection results and other indicators of quality.
