James “Jim” Schlaefli, 78, Downs

DOWNS - Graveside memorial services for James “Jim” Schlaefli, age 78 of Downs, will be at 10 AM Saturday, April 8 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cawker City. Mr. Schlaefli died March 20. Survivors include his wife Roberta of the home; son, Shannon (Jeri) of Cawker City; daughter, Robin Schlaefli-Winkel (Brett) of Downs; 3 grandchildren; & brother, Larry (Pauline) of Hays. Cremation has taken place & there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to join the family for lunch following services at the Downs United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be given to the Downs United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the James Schlaefli Memorial Fund. Roberts Family Funeral Service is in charge of local arrangements.
