Joann Marie Heidrick, 92, Littleton, Colorado

LITTLETON, CO, - Joann was bom November 29, 1931, the ninth child of Tom and Ella Reiter, Her twin sister Roseann was bom a few minutes later. She grew up on a farm near Beloit Kansas during the depression years , Her family moved to town when she was in junior high. She graduated from St. John's High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Bob Heidrick. Bob and Joann were married on November 14, 1950, and they moved to Colorado a year later, Joann and Bob purchased a lot in Englewood and they built their own home as they began to grow their family, They had eight children, Debbie (Terry Quinn), Mike (Karen), Duane, Diane (Mark Miller), Teresa, Chris (Lynette), Marilyn (Doug Olmsted) and Mark, Joann and Bob joined St, Mary's Parish when they moved to Colorado and Joann was an active and loyal member of the parish for 72 years. Joann and Bob had. 16 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren, Joann lived a life of faith, family and friends. She formed the rosary group at St. Mary's and personally made thousands of rosaries which have been distributed all over the world, She went to daily mass and served many funeral mass receptions and would bring communion to thoge who were sick or unable to go out, Joann was an avid qujlter and made many quilts for family, friends and the homeless community, She loved gardening and she loved to bake pies and her famous cinnamon rolls, Joann and Bob were life-long Broncos fans and even traveled for the Super Bowl to cheer on the Broncos. Joann worked hard all her life and raised a wonderful family, Bob preceded Joann in death nine years ago, after 64 years of loving marriage, The Blessed Mother was her touchstone, It is fitting that she passed into the arms of Our Lord, Jesus Christ on His birthday.

Recitation of Rosary, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 10:15 AM followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 6853 South Prince Street, Littleton, CO 80120 with concluding services at Littleton Cemetery, Condolences can be left at Joann’s Tribute Wall at www,EllisFwnily Sendees,com
