Kimberly Kay (Eck) Jermark, 68, McPherson

MCPHERSON – Kimberly Kay (Eck) Jermark was born to Herman and Margaret (Jacobs) Eck on August 12, 1953, in Osborne, Kansas. She passed peacefully from this life at home surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in McPherson, Kansas.

She attended St. John’ s Catholic High School and graduated with the class of 1971. Following her high school graduation, she attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.

She married Gregory Jermark on July 28th, 1973. In this union of 38 years of marriage, two children were born: Geoffrey Allen and Kalie Suzanne. While her children were young, Kim worked in retail for many years. Kim has always had a passion for serving others. She has spent the last 34 years managing three different country clubs.

Kim had a deep love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her favorite times of the year was October, when the new Hallmark ornament catalog came out. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and her children and grandchildren will enjoy the many memories of their Hallmark ornaments. She also left for her family to enjoy a heritage of great cooking skills. Kim will be missed dearly, but her family and friends are truly blessed with all that she shared. We will think of Kim when we drink an RC, smell fresh baked dinner rolls, and decorate our Christmas trees with our Hallmark ornaments.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Margaret Eck; her motherand father-in-law, (Rex and Marjorie Jermark); and her brother-in-law, Dan Fox.
