Leta M. (Wooster) Christoffel, 81, St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO. – Leta was born on August 15, 1941 and died on January 30, 2023.

She was raised in Beloit, KS by her parents Wendell and Anna Mae (Sims) Wooster. She graduated from Beloit High School in 1959 and worked for Southwestern Bell. She moved to St. Louis in the 1970’s with her family and continued to work for SWB, later known as AT & T.

Leta never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone.

Leta was preceded in death by her husband Tom Christoffel and her parents.

She is survived by her sons Scott (Sandra) Fitzgerald and Steven (Marietta) Fitzgerald, grandsons Ryan and Logan Fitzgerald, great grandsons Clayton and Drew, sister Andra (Bob) Lampert, and nephews Eric, Paul, and Aaron Lampert.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street, St. Louis MO 63109.

Leta will be laid to rest with Tom at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
