LORETTA MAY HUTCHINSON, 85, JEWELL

JEWELL – Loretta May Hutchison died at the age of 85, Sept 6, 2018, at the Nichol Nursing Home in Glasco, Kansas. She was born January 18, 1933 in Beloit, Kansas to Wellington S. Cullum and Florence A. (Knarr) Cullum. She was married to Melvin L. Hutchison April, 1953 in Jewell, Kansas. She was an LPN at the Mitchell County Hospital, retiring in 1996.

Loretta was a member of the Red Hat Society, Rebekah Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary, and she was an Avon Representative for more than 30 years.

Survivors include her son Dennis Hutchison, Jewell, Kansas, Donna Roe, Beloit, Kansas, five grandchildren; Ashleigh Hutchison, Jeremy Sanborn and wife Sonya, Jaime Lewis and husband Jeff, Jordon Farwell, and Jacob Farwell, four great-grandchildren Ella Sanborn, Paxon Sanborn, Pressley Lewis, Phoenix Lewis, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters Debbie and Deanna, sister Rachel St. John, brother Stanley Cullum, and son-in-law Jerry Roe.

Visitation will be held at the Kleppinger Funeral Home in Jewell, Kansas, Monday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., with family present from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m..

Her funeral will be held Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the Jewell Christian Church at 1PM, Jewell, Kansas, with Pastor Dan Daniels presiding. Burial will follow at the Wallace Cemetery, rural Jewell, Kansas.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems Acute Nursing Department or Jewell Christian Church.
