Marcia McCauslin

GRAND JUNCTION, CO. – Marcia McCauslin was born October 25, 1943, in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Joe and Helen (Ziegler) Jindra of Simpson, Kansas. She passed away February 22, 2023, at the age of 79, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

She was a 1961 graduate of Simpson High School and earned her bachelor's degree in 1965 from Fort Hays State University. She served as an assistant home economics agent in Salina from 19651971, then relocated to the Denver region, where she worked in the insurance industry.

Marcia married David McCauslin on May 24, 1980, and they lived in Aurora, Colorado, for many years before relocating in 2015 to Grand Junction, Colorado.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; Dave's daughter, Jennifer King; brother, Joe (Maria) Jindra, and brother-in-law, Larry Webster.

Other survivors include nephews, Toby Webster and Eric (Chrysta) Jindra and niece, Sarah (Justin) Peattie.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ruth, and nephew, Travis.

Her wish was to be cremated and there were no services.
