Todd Alan Jacobs, 35, Phillipsburg

Todd Alan Jacobs

Todd Alan Jacobs passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 35.

He was bom in Phillipsburg, Kansas, on August 12, 1987, to his parents Retina “Tina” Jacobs of Long Island, Kansas, and Donald “Don” Jacobs of Laird, Colorado.

Todd attended school at Northern valley, Norton, Mulvane, and Hill City. After he finished school he was employed at numerous places.

He worked for Thompson OK Tire Inc. in Beloit, Kansas. He was on the SORT Team at the Norton Correctional Facility in Norton, Kansas, and he most recently drove truck for Second Timothy LLC in Almena, Kansas.

Todd enjoyed spending time with Joni and their fur babies, shooting guns with family and friends, teaching kids about gun safety, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed driving truck with his best friend Tim, and having bon fires with plenty of “hold my beer” moments.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Phyllis Winslow, and Roy P. and Dona Jacobs, sister Retabitha Griggs, and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was survived by his significant other Joni Yocum of Norton, Kansas, parents Retina Jacobs and Tim Drake of Wichita, Kansas, and Donald Jacobs of Holyoke, Colorado, brothers Michael Jacobs of Wray, Colorado, Larry Jacobs of Wichita, Kansas, Rusty Jacobs of Holyoke, Colorado, and Robert Drake of Mulvane, Kansas, sisters Cora Jacobs of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Crystal Heusted and husband Brandon of Derby, Kansas, nephews Noah Christensen, Charlie Anderson, and Ayden Jacobs, and nieces Zoie Christenson, Lydia Jacobs, and Savannah Gile.

A celebration of life service will take place on August 12, 2023, 4:00 p.m., at the Long Island Community Center in Long Island, Kansas. A bonfire will follow, weather permitting. A private family graveside will take place in the Long Island Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Valley Ag Shop and mailed to Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, PO Box 563, Phillipsburg, Kansas, 67661.
