SALINA – Steven Lynn Dietz, the son of Lynn and Shirley Dietz, was born July 27, 1958 at Beloit. He departed this life July 5, 2021 at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina at the age of 62 years.
GRAVOIS MILLS, MO. – Raymond G. Engelhardt, 89, passed away on July 14th, 2021. He was born on May 4, 1932 and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed a full life of fishing, golfing, singing, playing musical instruments, church involvement and time with family and friends. Ray had a great sense of humor and he never knew a stranger. He loved The Lord and he was not ashamed of The Gospel.
BROKEN ARROW, OK. – Jerry L. Hauth, 76, of Broken Arrow, OK, died on Monday, May 31, 2021.
HAYS – Edna Marian King, resident of Mitchell Co Resident Care Center in Beloit, KS passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021, at age 87. She was the youngest of ten children born to Phillip and Janie (Griffin) Zillinger on March 13, 1934, in Logan, KS. Affectionately known as Marian, she attended schools in Phillips County. Marian was raised on a farm and her favorite childhood memory was on the 4th of July when they had firecrackers and homemade ice cream. She married Melvin King on Sept 22, 1950, in Stockton, KS and was married 31 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. To this union, six children were born. She worked outside the home when the children got older, as a bookkeeper until she retired. While living in Hays, KS she enjoyed working with the Senior Companion program to assist seniors that were alone and still living in their homes. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafting and loved to crochet and embroider. She had travels to 15 states and enjoyed her family and the many friendships that she made along the way. Things that were important in the family were working hard, doing well in school and playing fair. She loved doing things with and for her family.
