Hoping to be a husband

Our son 'Kyle' got a divorce after eight years of marriage. (He later told us it was because his ex-wife had an abortion.) Since then, he has had a few girlfriends, but none of them wanted or could have a baby. He desperately wants to have a child, but he doesn't have $50,000 for a surrogate. My question is, what do women want at childbearing age?

Dove season opens Sept. 1

Dove season open on Sept. 1 every year and it is usually the kickoff to hunting season. Game Wardens and sportsman alike look forward to it every year as it is a fresh start to our season and means that there are plenty of good times to follow. To make sure you get off on the right track let us review and go over the legal necessities. First, before you load up your trusty bucket and head for the field, you need to have a few things taken care of such as stamps and licenses. You will need to have successfully completed Hunter Education or be born before June 1, 1957. On top of Hunter Education, you will need to have purchased a Kansas Hunting license and a Harvest Information Program stamp. Better known as a HIP stamp. Once those are acquired and you have them in your possession or on the Kansas Hunt & Fish App, you are ready to go over your gear. The main concern you need to have for gear is to make sure that you have a plug in your shotgun if you are using a pump or semiauto action. This means your gun cannot be allowed to hold more than 3 rounds including the chamber. This is because doves are migratory birds, and the regulations are set by the Federal Government. The daily limit of migratory dove is 15 and the possession limit is 45 per person. Girlfriend is self-destructing

I have been with my girlfriend for three years. She and her physically disabled son have lived with me for almost two years. I've been very unhappy in this relationship for a while now. I don't think she treats me very well. She trashes my house and interrupts me every time I speak. Her jealousy is over the top. She smokes in the house and drops ashes all over my bed. Another major issue is her drinking. She starts drinking hard alcohol in the middle of the afternoon. Any time we get together with my friends, she's slurring her words and talking nonsense. She even drives around with a drink in the car, sometimes when her son is with her. I don't want to sound superficial, but all the soda, alcohol and daily fast food has changed her appearance and made me lose physical attraction to her. She doesn't make much money and doesn't have anywhere to go. I can't just put her and her son out on the street with nothing. I feel like I'm trapped. What can I do? -- Feeling Trapped The real person here who is trapped is your girlfriend. She is trapped in a life of self-sabotage and alcoholism that will not lead to anything good. You are right to be concerned about her son. The best thing you can do is to have an intervention with her and tell her in no uncertain terms that she has to get help for her drinking. She is a grown adult, and if she refuses help, then you have to ask her to leave your house -- not just for your sake but for hers as well. Enabling all that self-destructive behavior will only hurt her and her son in the long run.
