BELOIT – The Beloit Trojan boys baseball team opened their season on home field with the doubleheader win over the Concordia Panthers. They scored 9-8 in the first game and added the second win at 10-8.
Ashland-Greenwood High School basketball team starting junior, Cougar Konzem, poses with the Nebraska C1 State Championship trophy the team recently earned. The championship games were played at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln Nebraska. His parents are Matt and Tammy Konzem of Ashland. Matt is a 1990 graduate of Beloit High School. Cougar’ s grandparents are Dale and Kathy Konzem of Beloit.
