Johnson named new MCHHS board member
BELOIT - Jim Johnson has been announced as the new Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) board member after the 33 year retirement of Curt Frasier.
“The hospital is a vital part of our community not only in the healthcare services it provides but also for the revenue it provides to our local economy,” said Johnson. “It is important for our community and 1 am looking forward to serving on the board.
Johnson grew up on a farm west of Randall, Kansas and graduated from Jewell High School in May 1991. He attended Cloud County Community College and received an Associate of Arts Degree. He then continued his education at Kansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. In 2003, Johnson received a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Kansas and become licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri. He has been in practice at Frasier, Johnson and Martin, LLC in Beloit since January 2004.
Jim and his wife, Heather, married in June 1996 and have three children. Sydney is a sophomore at the University of Missouri and a member of the track team. Avery is a junior at Beloit Jr/Sr High School and Eli is in seventh grader.
Jim Johnson enjoys hunting, fishing, going to the lake and spending time with family enjoying their many activities. He is the assistant coach for the BJSHS Trap Team and is also active in many local organizations, where he serves on boards and committees in the area.
